Trent Edwards hasn't played against a goddamn decent starter yet, but I'll say this about Captain Checkdown... the guy can move an offense against guys who will be working at Best Buy next Monday.

Buh bye Kafka.

I still think Kafka is 2:1 to stay. Reid won't admit his draft pick is worst than a guy no one wanted.

I disagree.  Foles provides all the cover he needs on the "quarterback guru" front.  Edwards over Kafka.

Agree with this. I think they trade Kafka for a late round pick, probably a 7th and hang onto Edwards. At least with Edwards you have a veteran to fall back on. Kafka's fate was sealed as soon as he was injured.

i wonder if theres anyway they keep four rb's and just deactivate polk every week...would be highly unusual but how do you let polk go...also is it possible dion lewis gets cut?...it would suprise but not shock me

did vinny curry cut brandon graham last night?

kafka is gone....it wasnt like he was a second rounder...and you gotta remember trent edwards is only 28...just three years older than kafka...he could be a solid back up for a long time still...in other words he can be an investment as much as kafka is...hes not necessarily a stop gap guy

i think Kafka stays because he'll have a superior knowledge of the offense compared to Edwards.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

thats certainly possible i think edwards experience in the league trumps any playbook advantage kafka might have...and thats even if he has an advantage there...edwards intelligence is his stong suit...even if kafka knows more right now will he know significantly more in a month?

i think the mitigating factor is edwards experience.....hes started like 40 games in the nfl...andy doesnt have time to farg around and see if kafka can play in the league...this is even more true after luries comments yesterday...if the day ever comes where they need either of these guys to start i think andy goes with the guy who he thinks has a better chance of winning nfl games...maybe thats kafka i dont know...to me though its the guy whos actually been a starting qb in the league

i also think edwards experience is an advantage in that he would be a better guy to mentor foles

whoever he cuts is going to have to be given a reason to soften the blow...kafa will hear experience as the reason he is gone

id rip you but im actually suprised a MA has ever even heard the word mitigating...so you get a pass

lol good on you for looking it up, but the contextual usage leads me to believe you remembered a word you heard one of rusty's smart friends say, and then misapplied it in a sentence.

all these pundits keep talking about the severe lack of depth at safety but never mention that the starters are a questionmark

So...how long before we will be hearing the term..."starting quarterback Nick Foles..."?
