r frank who granted is the biggest homer thats ever lived wrote a glowing piece on kelly and how much the eagles love him

obviously a gm has to be judged on all of his pics as a whole but if kelly turns out to be a player i may have to really start rethinking about howie as a talent evaluater...kelly is a guy who wasnt on a lot of teams boards AT ALL....and the eagles didnt sign him as an UDFA they didnt even take him in the 7th round....he was a 5th rounder....not only that but they got him there and still got a bryce brown in the 7th

if he pans out he would be some kind of good pick

Let me just say that I think Howard Mudd should focus on the garbage he's putting on the field right now rather than identifying new and previously unheard of garbage from Iowa to tinker around with.

I really have to say i'm impressed by Howie going out and getting players with troubled history. They would never do that before, it was all about character and you end up with Trevor Laws. Now they're getting the Thorntons/Johnson/Brown type players. Its refreshing.
