May have been posted and I missed it but decent article by Kate Fagan regarding Iguodala and the trade:

A source has said that Andrew Bynum will undergo a precautionary non-invasive knee procedure in early September in Germany.

I know its precautionary, but seeing Bynum limping a bit in the playoffs has me worried from the jump--one of the reasons why it was hard for me to get crazy excited about this trade. Up for grabs how he will fare a full season.

John Clark said he arrived in Philly today wearing Lakers sweats. lol

MDS

hes going to be unintentionally hysterical

i would love to know what locker room life was like with him and ron ron. i can only imagine how fun itll be with him, kwame and that dork et. 24/7 please.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

It's the same procedure that Kobe Bryant had last off season on his knee and his knee reacted very well to it. He doesn't have to go under the knife which is a good thing. The good news is they're not removing cartlidge because once they start doing that he's history.

PC is Wednesday. I want to hear his thoughts on coming here.

phattymatty

so the PC tomorrow is open to the public...that's pretty cool. really liking this aron dude.

one thing i find weird is that they're not taking advantage of will smith being a minority owner. not that i necessarily want him to be a face of the organization or anything but seems like they're missing a big marketing opportunity. i bet he's more vocal now that there's a star in town.

QuoteSources close to Andrew Bynum say he is beyond thrilled about the situation in Philadelphia. He'll get the chance to be his own star, be the focal point of the team and remain in the discussion as an All-Star starter.

Bynum is in the final year of his deal and, like all of the names on this list, is not signing a contract extension. The 76ers say they are OK with the risk, because they feel they acquired a marquee center that will stay long-term.

Unless the wheels completely come off the franchise, a new deal for Bynum is almost assured because those that know him say he will not leave the money on the table to walk away and Philly has been given some level of assurance that Bynum is OK with what this new situation means for him. There have been no "commitments" made, but like Chris Paul and the Clippers, the 76ers understand where they stand with Bynum long-term.

Yeah, seriously. With Howard in the West, Bynum will account for about 90% of AS ballots for centers in the East automatically and 99% if he plays in more than 1 game.

Have to go to court in the morning in my landlord/tenant dispute meaning I'm off all day. Might run over to the PC if time permits.
