jarrett aside cause he wont be starting....maybe wont even make the time....safties are one of the issues....however nate allen will be a revelation this year the corners will be utilized properly and the dl will get after the qb

the big question is who is covering tight ends...certainly not kendricks and the problem arises because nnamdi actually did a great job on te's last year but he has to stay outside this year for the most part...UNLESS my homie brandon boykin sets the league on fire...which is going to happen

I thought Howard Mudd was a great O-line coach. I guess even Emril can't make ground beef taste like a porterhouse.

I know that there are some people who think it's crazy to debate about the backup qb's, but how can you not when you have a team with a sub-par O-line and a qb who has played all 16 games only once in his career. Having said that, Kafka can suck the puss from under my infected big toe nail. I like what Nick Foles has shown so far.

I'd go with Foles simply because of his arm strength. Kafka doesn't have good arm strength or accuracy. I'm not buying the Foles hype machine yet, he had a few nice deep passes against 3rd stringers but if the other option is Kafka then yes I'd look at having Foles as the backup.

I rewatched the first two quarters last night, Demeco Ryans looks lost. He gets bunched up like Casey Matthews and couldn't shed blockers. He whiffed on a few plays as well. Usually I'd chalk this up to first game jitters but reports I've read from camp have said the same thing.

That was the other observation I wanted to point out, the entire line was dreadful but Bell was really bad. They don't have an anchor on that line and it shows. Maybe it's the new scheme because Mudd runs more of an attack scheme and Bell was firing out and getting thrown aside, but if Dunlap is getting time than the O-line is in deep shtein.
