At what point is it okay to get upset?

Early June when the Dodgers swept their ass.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Quote10 Best Philadelphians
Jimmy Rollins

Why do we love Jimmy Rollins? Because we always love a winner, and the man is a flat-out champ, no matter what the standings say. We love him, too, because of the way he plays—tough, hard, but like it's fun. And of course we love him because he married a Philly girl, and because he chose to stay when he could have left.

But mostly we love Jimmy Rollins because he's been unafraid to call us, the big bad nasty fans of Philadelphia, on our crap. "You get to a point where you've lived here long enough and understand the city well enough that you feel brave enough to say how you feel," he says. Like the time he dubbed us all a bunch of front runners. Or the time after a playoff loss when he said that fans at the ballpark were "waay too quiet."

Do we like this? Of course not. But from Jimmy, we'll take it. Maybe that's what we should be most thankful to him for—for reminding us that real love isn't easy, for caring enough to boo us back, for giving Philadelphians something we've never really had: a grown-up relationship with a professional athlete.

Here's a good question- is victorino a wall of famer?

Out of the guys to leave the only definite yes to me are lidge and burrell

So Lidge is a definite yes because of 1 amazing year but you have doubts about Vic despite 6 really good full seasons (not including his handfull of appearances in 05 or the half of 12) that included 3 GG and 2 AS appearances?

I'm on the fence about either going on the Wall, but I'd def put Vic ahead of Lidge on the pecking order.  Lidge's 08 was amazing and who knows if the Phils win it without him.  But it was still only 1 year and he was absolutely awful after that.  At least Vic was a steady contributor to 1 WS, another appearance, 5 straight division titles and the most reg season wins in franchise history.

when you do what he did in that 1 season, thats all you need

in this town of losers a title counts just a little bit more than gold gloves and all star games

Except that Vic was a starter for that WS as well, so he was a contributor just as much as Lidge was (although Vic didn't have a great series at the plate).  Lidge just had the good fortune of throwing the clinching pitch.

So basically, we should just put the entire 08 Phils on the Wall since they delivered the first WS in 28 years.

Vic had a good WS game 5 part 1, drove in the first two runs before Bud let them play in the great typhoon of 2008 plus he got Bruntlett to third leading up to the winning run in Part 2.

His grand slam against Sabathia and the home run against the Dodgers to tie up game 4 will always be two of my most memorable Phillies moments.
