Montana blows unless you're an outdoorsy person.  During the summer, everything's brown except the people.  Oh, and you're gonna need a cowboy hat...

Actually, the few days we did spend there everything was green.  You might be thinking of eastern MT, which is more desert-like.  Western MT is really nice though.  And the weather was awesome. 

And yeah, I like the outdoors.  I've just been avoiding them while living in the desert because it's hot as hell and hiking around in the desert isn't exceptionally appealing.  Did it once.  Never again.
