Supposedly they have Curry, aka Bruce Lee, blitzing from a standing position. These farging guys.....
"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.""  R.I.P George.

Rome

They already have a guy that would be perfect for that... his name is Brandon Graham.  They're probably planning on trying him out at safety, though, so...

Anyone else get the survey email from the Eagles? Among the things they ask about:

-- adding a new section to the SW corner of the upper deck
-- adding a restaurant to the north section
-- improved luxury suites
-- an annual membership to "Eagles Nation"

Sgt PSN

That all sounds pretty awful except adding a new section.  But it'll probably be SRO, so who gives a shtein?

Restaurant in a football stadium?  lol  Let me guess....Chickie's & Pete's, right?
Improved luxury suites?  Really?  They aren't nice enough already?  Farg the rich.
Eagles Nation?  Do I get an ID card!?!?  I think I'd rather join the Rotary Club.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

BigEd76

One of the questions was "Choose up to 8 foods you'd like to see served in these suites" and among the choices were sushi and cheese platters....no lie

For the restaurant, they're not sure if they want to put it inside the stadium or just outside of it to go up against Xfinity and McFaddens, but they ask questions about how likely you'd show up there before/during/after games or on days when there aren't any games.  They also ask if it should be a pizzeria, a steakhouse, a microbrewery or something else

The new section would be the missing 208, I guess.  They said it would have the same amenities as the neighboring sections.

The Eagles Nation thing would supposedly give people first dibs on tickets before the general public.....and yea, probably an ID card, a badge and neato stickers

Sgt PSN

Wait....so now they want you to pay for an annual membership to basically get head of the line privileges on single game tickets?  Farg them.

SD

They should build a section like Ashburn Alley where you can get stuff that isn't stadium vendors. That would be my suggestion. Then again nobody is venturing towards the Linc on non game days so what's the point.

Rome

They're not going to add seats because they can't.  If you read the agreement the city has with the team the number of permanent seats for Eagles games is capped.  They can add temporary seats for the Army/Navy game but that's it.  Of course agreements can change, so...

And LOLOL at the cheese platter comment.  Nuke those cockbags.

SunMo

oh noes the eagles are asking the fans opinions, burn them.

farging retards
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

ice grillin you

id add as many sections as it takes to close off the corners....i hate that open feel that a lot of the more modern stadiums have

SW corner could mean right next to me so im def down with that

food is irrelevant at football games unless youre talking about suites....yeah people may grab a hot dog steak or pretzel real quick at halftime but football is different than baseball....you can miss an inning or two of a 162 game season standing in line for a schmitter and no one would care....but individual plays mean so much in football much less full series that people arent going to miss significant portions of the game waiting for food

shtein if im walking up the ramps during the first series of a game im stopping at the railing to lean over and watch every single play....if im walking around the bank concourse headed to my seat in the first inning im not stopping at all unless i hear the crowd go crazy
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Hoffman article on Washburn

QuoteHis Wide-9 defensive front, with the end lined up over the outside shoulder of the tight end, became the target of fans who could not believe how bad the Eagles were at stopping the run and holding leads at the beginning of last season. Washburn said he did not hear or read the criticism, on purpose. "I don't need anybody to tell me what a dumbass I am. I already know."
