no it's retarded and it was definitely a dive

the whole purpose of the unsportsmanlike is to deter diving yet they never just call the dive....so why would any player still not try it

the penguins have to much space in the neutral zone...they are making passe from their own blueline of just inside it way to easily...i dont think they even had to dump and chase more than five or six times this period...every thing is a lead pass and them sakting free into the flyers zone

When that rush was coming I just knew they were going to score with little to no time left. It's so obvious. Typical slow Flyers first.

In the regular season, the Pens were 2nd in the NHL with 78 1st period goals. The Flyers were 2nd with 78 1st period goals allowed.

Maybe time to make an adjustment to that strategy for the playoffs.

i was thinking the start to the first game was youth oriented...and of course the fact that the penguins are just better....but theres no excuse for this game....they have been pathetic much more than pens have been great and you cant blame youth after winning the first game

I try not to bitch about penalties too much, but Grossman's second penalty was an embarrassment and I'm sick of seeing the Pens get 3 PP's before Philly gets one.  I feel like playing @ Pitt is like cameron indoor sometimes.

i agree on the grossmann call but other than that in two games can you really point to another call or non call that was blatantly in favor of pittsburgh....plus the flyers got the benefit of the worst non offside calls ive seen in all my years of watching hockey...a blantant offsides is usually the length of the puck or puck and a half....that was a foot offsides

in fact i was just mentioning to my boy how clean this series has been played by both teams...and not clean in terms of dirty plays but just crisp non holding hooking interference hockey with lots of hitting
