i have a handful of issues that i lean right on, but i can't ever vote right because i cannot stand being associated with those fargtards.  god knows there are lots of issues i disagree with the left on but i generally despise the people who represent the "core" of the right to such a degree that i ignore my occasional policy overlaps.

yep.  the social right is swallowing the rest of the party.  everyone does things for political expediency to some degree, but walker and those like them are just repugnant people.  the left has them too but they're the fringe on the left, not the base.  that's the problem -- the base on the right is what the fringe used to be.

Don't get raped or they'll throw you in jail

The unidentified girl has been at the Sacramento County Youth Detention Facility for nearly two weeks. A judge ordered the girl to be locked up on a material witness warrant in order to ensure she will appear in court for her alleged rapist's trial.

It's pretty much hit or miss on whether or not a rape victim will speak up to begin with but I'm pretty sure the threat of jail will not encourage victims to step forward.  I've never heard of a victim/plaintiff being tossed in the slammer for being a flight risk.  LOL @ California.  I can't wait to leave this farging state.
