I time shifted it via DVR, and it was pretty good. I even went back and watched the "Taking Dead" chat with the creators. Next season should be pretty good.

i realize they stopped production on new shows but why didnt hbo show the last already filmed episodes of this season....and are they available ondemand?

im pretty sure they are showing all episodes from the first season. the second season had production canceled during episode 2...which means there is 1 completed episode out there. that will never see the light of day.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I was just discussing that with a friend...there are some great shows out there like mad men and breaking bad that we just never got around to watching. I don't think I ever watched an episode of lost or some show called the wire.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

I finally started watching Breaking Bad on Netflix....I wish I wouldn't have waited so long.  What a great fn show.

****SPOILER ALERT**** for those that didn't read the books or watch season 1.

I resisted watching it for a long time, then decided to cave in and watch back in Jan or Feb....it was pretty awesome. I enjoy the medieval times type stuff, but the whole dragons thing never really appealed to me (minus The Hobbit/LOTR).....so the very end of Season 1 was not something I was particularly excited about with Dany and the Dragons. But it seems there will be enough of all the other stuff to not let it ruin the series for me. I'm very interested to see how Robb does as King of the North and how the war goes, and what the hell is going on at the Wall

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

There are certainly 'magical' elements to the show, but they are never at the heart of it and even when they exist in some form, they always remain on the periphery (at least insofar as it relates to the main plot/interactions between characters etc).
