you saw how they played against tampa when peyton left because of his leg? dude calls the plays and is the man behind the curtain of that offense.

if hes out, even though brees is amazing, it aint gonna be the same. now lets say they stink it up this year and spags has to take the heat for it.

or he could come to philly and coach up a mediocre defense that just added a possible washed up 28 year old. tough call.

if this happened in the middle of a season i could maybe see them being in some sort of trouble...but breese is basically peyton manning as far as running the offense and pete carmichael has been there for six years

he will run the offense
spags will be the DC and defacto head coach
and they will still be on the short list of teams from the nfc that can make the superbowl

not saying losing payton doesnt hurt...but its certainly not some iceberg moment where the ship is going down and everyone wants out

Based on their track record...they couldn't have drafted a better linebacker...even with these injuries.

Off the subject, in a case where someone gets suspended a year without pay...let's say it was the 2nd year of a 3 year contract and the person was said to make X-millions....is that year completely lost or does it get pushed forward to the following season? I'm pretty sure they lose it...but not 100% sure.
