I can't believe how much press this guy is getting.  The f'n Doobie Brothers?   

His drumming was middling, at best, like the rest of the band.  But I guess we've had paucity of "celebrity" deaths in the past few days, so now Whossack might as well have been the best drummer since Ginger Baker or Clyde Stubblefield.

I'm a fan of The Doobie Brothers but yeah, they weren't legendary in terms of their talent.  I just enjoy their music.
