Mom moved to Florida when I was in college.  No teaching jobs in PA in 1993 when I graduated.

If I could get out of my house I'd think long and hard about moving to New England somewhere, but I'm afraid my mortgage is too underwater to sell without ruining myself financially.

I will never live further south than I do now.  New England is heaven in America as far as I'm concerned.  Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine....as good as it gets.

Honestly, no.  I don't.  Without getting too personal suffice it to say I'm locked in here for now.  If I had my way I would have moved my family back to New Jersey years ago, but it takes two to agree to something like that.

Florida must be some kind of awful if you have aspirations of moving to NJ.  No state tax, warm weather, etc.  Not saying I'd ever live there but I think I'd rank it above Jersey.

New Jersey has jobs, great beaches, great food, Philly within an hour drive, and a million other things that are superior to this shteinhole.

I mean, I'd rather live in Hawaii personally but that ain't gonna happen until Don finishes building my rental apartment above the garage, so...

I have no doubt that my mostly unfounded Jersey hating is going to end with me ultimately finding a job in and moving to the Garden State.  Maybe I should have been hating on Hawaii all these years instead.  On the other hand, good thing I haven't been bad mouthing Alabama
