Very good win against a good team that wasn't missing any key players.  I guess you could be a negadelphian and say that the Lakers suck ass on the road this year, but that would warrant a punch in the dick.

the game as a whole isnt nearly as important as them closing out...thats been their biggest issue...even last year when they werent nearly as good they hung with good teams...they just had mad trouble finishing...you cant underestimate how important this game was in that respect

Oh, I agree.  I thought they were great in the 4th.

they gave up 21 offensive rebounds and won an nba game....that just doesnt happen

Yeah, bench scoring and fast break points were enough to swing the game in the 6ers favor.

Sixers bench: 49 pts. Lakers bench: 16 pts.
Sixers fast break: 11 pts. Lakers fast break: 2pts.

Wow I just read the sixers only signed Allen to one year deal with no team options, highly unorthodox for second round picks

Hawes had a bad game against one of the best front courts, two games removed from an injury, and he's suddenly awful. Give me a farging break igy.

who said hes awful....hes a solid back up center in the nba...he was a putrid train wreck tonight which just exposed even more how much they need inside help...not that everyone cept you didnt already know this

and lol at using the injury excuse...his first game back you claimed that the offense would be humming like a turbo engine because of his return....but now in his second game back the injury is a problem?

Are you going to deny the half court offense isn't better with Hawes... The numbers don't lie and neither do the observations from my own eyes...

Hawes is a skilled big man who makes the half court offense much more fluid.   He was rebounding at a good clip before the injury and blocking two shots a game.

Obviously he can't play with Voosh because they aren't physical enough.   What other preferable options at Center are available?

i never said it was better or worse witth him in their...just laughing at you pumping up hawes return in his first game back from injury and then in the second game back when he gets raped you bring up the fact that hes only two games back from injury

hopfully he wont be back next year and we wont have to talk about the creampuff anymore unless its about him giving some solid minutes off the bench

i've been to a few gtown games this year with big late game comebacks which were just as good for me, but as for philly sports i agree.

and lou has come through in the fourth with some clutch shots a few times this year now, last few years it's always been iggy bricking a three at the end but they are actively running plays for lou now in the last seconds. if he keeps making those shots thats going to be huge come playoff time.

we all knew that they were going to get tossed around in the paint but if they can give up all those rebounds to bynum and gasol and still win, i have even more faith.

the hidden benefit of iguodalas horrid free throw shooting this year is lou getting his chance at the end of games...if iguodala is still at 75% and not 60 he still has the ball in his hands to close

lou will never be a consistent killer at the end of games because hes too small but hes certainly a better option than iguodala

i find it amazing that lou is only 25. i feel like he's been on the team for ten years.

the stat line again last night was crazy spread out, other than lou's 24 it's like 8-9 guys on the team had the same exact numbers.

ice grillin you

you wanna see a crazy number

the difference btwn the sixers leading scorer and their EIGHTH leading scorer is only 6.3 pts

Im in awe sometimes watching Lou throw up that floater because that's hands down one of the toughest shots to make.

He's been doing it on a consistent basis.

Hawes doubtful again Wednesday. Back for a MRI.

Malik is extra bad tonight.  everytime he talks about a spur it starts with "when i was talking to timmy last night..."
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.
