igy is the iggy of this board. Regardless of how iggy plays he'll tout the "people who know basketball know how good he is" theme to stick up for his boy.

hes not my boy....i dont even like him....i just dont hate him...and i am able to see him for what he is

and you are not watching the games if your answer to everything is the same because you hate a player

thats the problem with internet boards....people make outlandish statements and because they are saved on a server forever they think they have to stick to them no matter what...and so instead of watching games they wait for that one play where they can say i told you so

the fact that 90% of the people in this country dont understand the game of basketball is a whole other topic having nothing to do with irrational claims

all that being said, tell me that iguodala played good defense last night in the 4th quarter.  when old man miller takes you off the dribble multiple times, you are not an elite defender

he never took him off the dribble once

he hit a 28 foot three pointer
a step back 17 footer

and one super tough drive on the little runner where iguodala was all over him but miller made a ridiculous shot...you wanna say he should have blocked it fine...but to call it bad defense is just wrong

plus there was the jumper he made with 30 seconds left where he completely lost turner

miller had 44 minutes to get in his groove and then iguodala got switched on him....it a tough thing to do to step in like that against a guy who is already on fire and is a savvy veteran....did miller get his man against iguodala a couple times sure...shtein happens...guy was on fire...but to use that as some sort of mandate against iguodalas as a player or a defender is one of the most hatetastic short sighted things ive ever heard....especially in the same game where the nuggets leading scorer could only get three shots off against andre...

name me a defender in the nba who has never been scored on before...and even if you could that doesnt make iguodala a bad defender...hes a top 10 defender in the nba and one of the two or three best defensive forwards...call that great elite very good average zesty or whatever description you want...but its a fact

like someone here said the other day...he isnt a finalist for the best team in the world because of his clutch free throws or his sweet jumper

theres lots of things to criticze in his game....defense is last on that list....if you hate the guy im not sure why you would go there with him

This team is a complete fraud. Even if they make the playoffs, Mike Vick would have a better shot beating a rap on under cover philly then these jokers would have at winning more then 1 game in a series.

Frauds a strong word, I doubt anyone had them going to the finals. Best case scenario is 1st place and winning a round in the playoffs. They're not looking to hot tonight.
