I can honestly say that I've never had (or seen until now) a cheese steak pizza.  Heard of it, never tried it.  I find it acceptable to serve cheese steak 2 possible ways.  Traditional sammich or stromboli.  No cheese steak pizza, no cheese steak soft pretzels, no cheese steak m&m's or any other awful idea man can come up with.

Cheesesteak pizzas have been around for awhile...I remember a place around the corner from me used to make them when I was in high school. You can't go to the shore and not see one on the boardwalk.

Yeah, I've heard about them forever and seen them on the menus of nearly every pizza joint I've been to in and around Philly.  I've just never ordered one and never noticed anyone else ordering it either.
