MDS

im not gonna doubt its the most overrated show of all time (at best its 90 minutes of tv where 10 minutes are funny), but this has been a good one so far

and i never say that about this show
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

ice grillin you

you watch it because its snl and you love tv history and lorne michales and kennedy center honors that include snl people...in other words you are a tv nerd....but for real people snl has largely been horrendous its whole run...and that includes the glory years of the 70's and 80's
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Howard Stern is going to be a judge on America's Got Talent.  I might actually watch it a little now.

Boardwalk Empire finale was good. I enjoy the tone and style of the show quite a bit. Not sure how much longer they can go with the theme, though.

Susquehanna Birder

They're going to have to start deviating more and more from the historical basis, I think.

season 1 was probably 50/50 based on "fact"... season two was probably down to 20% truth.

most of the true story lines are the rothstein and capone stories. (at least they are also the most accurate character representations)

Susquehanna Birder

Yeah, but they're not going to go too far off of the underlying historical arc. Nucky isn't going to get offed, and he's not going to jail for anything other than tax evasion.

Yes!  All in.

shtein.  Confined to the coach for most of the day after my hip surgery and with little options, been watching a lot of TV.  My wife just took over for a little bit and she's watching Kourtney & Kim Take New York.  It is now perfectly clear to me why the rest of the world hates us.  I even hate myself for watching it.

The clip they showed on "The Soup" was legendary. Humphries said something to Kim along the lines of, "People aren't going to care about you in a few years." Pretty hilarious stuff.

Guess Bill O'Reilly was right about grilling Barbara Walters on naming those pathetic humans most fascinating:

QuoteWalters also brought up the "famous for being famous" critique. "You don't really act; you don't sing; you don't dance," she told the women. "You don't have any – forgive me — any talent!"
