No he isn't. The NBA is full of half dressed, inked up, negro thugs who can't hide under a helmet and full body uniform. HATE HATE HATE!!

ice grillin you

no im talking about all the people who hate it and go out of their way to say so....im not saying you have to like it but the hatred is crazy to me..its like why?...especially since the nba and its fans mind its own business

trashy munson is a perfect example of this

It's not so much that people hate the NBA...it's that they just don't care. You're confusing the two.

collectively the nba is second in popularity to the nfl. a yankees/cubs world series would destroy the best the nba could do, but of course that doesn't not going to happen every day.

so tons of people care. just tons of closet racists hate on it for whatever reason. its ridiculous.

and im super excited for this sixers season. the big decision is whether to get the tv package or the internet one.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Anyone care to outline the changes (Ed?). I don't like the NBA enough to put the effort in. I am excited to see the Sixers play again.

So far here's all we know:

-- 10-yr deal with opt-out after 6
-- 66-game schedule starting with a tripleheader on Christmas (BOS@NY, MIA@DAL, CHI@LAL)
-- training camps and FA start on 12/9
-- players get between 49% and 51% of revenue
-- owners must spend at least 85% of their salary cap this year (and next?) and eventually this will increase to 90% (so teams like the Clippers, Grizzlies and Bobcats actually have to spend)
-- higher luxury tax that'll prevent teams like the Mavericks, Lakers and Knicks from getting all the FAs
-- increased involvement and use of the NBDL

Dei thinks Nocioni is gonna get the amnesty dump and they'll go after a center like Kwame Brown

Sgt PSN

I really hope Kwame Brown isn't the first signing this new ownership group makes.

reese125

They better farging not go after Kwame Brown.

Managments balls will be castrated from the jump with a move like that.

PhillyPhreak54

Yeah he's farging awful.

I'd rather them bring back Matt Geiger before they signed that waste

it would be an awful move but dont get it twisted...the new owners dont know a single thing about baketball...it would be all rod thorn making this and any other basketball decisions

You are absolutely right so I'll rephrase my statement....Kwame Brown better not be the first signing on their watch.

I'm not expecting the world from them right off the bat.  Don't expect them to land CP3 or trade for a Bynam-type guy, but I do expect the first move to be something that makes sense and has a visible benefit to it, even if it's something that wouldn't benefit them for this year.  This new group has injected some life into the fan base and if Kwame Brown were to be the first big signing of their stewardship, then they'd simply be getting off on the wrong foot.

if its a one year or two at the most cheapie deal i can live with it i suppose...lord knows they need all the help on the front line they can get and hed be a safe rotation guy

i wonder what craig brackins has been up to during the lockout
