The meal I usually get when I get a McDonad's craving is the 2 cheeseburger meal, fries, and an orange Hi-C.

Had some delicious fried trout at this small Bar/liquor store up the road from me Saturday night for the fight.  This place was always a convenience store for the tourist that came through.  The guy who bought it popped in a bar, stopped selling toilet paper to campers, and has menu of wings/burgers/fried trout/meatball subs.  The "carolina water" at 2am was pretty good too.

they are on the "value" menu, which places use to call the dollar menu but they changed that so they could start creeping their prices up again

Ditto...a McDonalds lunch is not the same without Hi-C orange.

Also, everyone I was with got apple pies with their meals...is this something new they do now?

McDonald's burgers and fries might be the only food in the world I eat in full taking about 2 breaths and not one sip of soda during.

so i had some friends come over to my house yesterday morning and we all got really high and decided to find the best fried chicken in dc. (ironic racism because it was MLK day not realized until later, honest coincidence). long story shot, we spent over $40 in a cab going from place to place to place and everything was closed for the holiday. ended up going to bojangles. still delicious as farg but in a city like this it should not be that hard to find some really good fried chicken.

problem with dc is it has fine upscale restaurants but terrible low end street type food

which is probably why the best fried chicken in the city is at georgia browns
