I don't think they give a shtein about PSU one way or the other.  Penn St has a following in Philly but there aren't competing for headlines with them.  It's the topic du jour so it's stealing a little bit of the spot light away from the Eagles embarrassment on MNF but in the end, PSU has little impact on the Eagles press coverage.

I've been listening to 97.5 on my phone the last couple of days and I hear just as much PSU coverage there as I do on local sports radio in LA.  When I get a chance to tune into the 97.5, I've heard just as much Eagles and I have PSU.  Maybe if I kept the stream going all day I'd see a shift in balance but I can't imagine that I'm just missing the meaty coverage the 3 or 4 times a day that I tune in.

Finally got around to watching the NFL Network's "A Football Life" about Reggie White and Jerome Brown.  DVR'd it months ago, but just had the extra hour to watch it tonight.

I don't know if it's just raw emotions because of a really rough week, but that damn show tore me up.  Watching White announce Brown's death to the Vet Stadium crowd nearly felt like I was hearing it again for the first time.

I put way too much emotional investment into sports.
