a head coach down here is also on administrative leave because he got a dui (he will be "reassigned" fairly soon since their season is over). also the publisher for our sister paper was on administrative leave due to a dui, but he quickly resigned.

administrative leave. where rich people go when they farg up.

if i get a dui i get fired. not put on farging administrative leave.

someone made the point that joe might stay for next year even if he had planned on retiring because he doesnt want it to look like an admission of any sort of guilt and thus tarnish his legacy even more

this may be valid....then again it may not even be up to him

As much as I love the guy.....he should definetly go. Yes he did the right thing reporting it, but he didn't follow up on it so he shares some of the blame.

It is beyond me how they could allow this to happen, the more I think about it the more pissed I get.

its not just not following it up...really not following up wasnt even his biggest error...that happened was when ginger came to his house and reported what he saw and insteasd of going right to the police station and filing a report he waited a day then called curley

the most damaging thing imo tho more than any of that was was allowing sandusky to bring young boys to his practices and games up until 2007...the shower incident happened in 2002....and the first official complaint in 98
