Collinsworth was right in saying it's very Barry Sanders-esque the way Shady gets around guys.

True he can be Sanders-esque, but he is nowhere near the level of Barry.
Exactly, he may make moves that do conjure the ghost of Barry, but he definitely isn't the gawd

Will you still be saying that if he can stay healthy for the next 4-6 years? I agree he's no Barry Sanders, but the similarity can't be ingnored, and I'm thinking that elusiveness he plays with could help him with staying healthy by not taking a whole lot of big hits.

Also, we should give credit were credit is due. We bash the hell out of Reid, but he can draft the perfect west coast rb. It looks like he's done it twice.
Barry Sanders was on an entirely different level as far as elusiveness and it won't matter what kind of stats Shady might put up. Sure he took some TFLs and underperformed in the playoffs and so forth but as far as quickness, instincts and body control that I don't think he has ever been matched, including Walter Payton.

ice grillin you

i feel like you mean gayle sayers....walter payton in no way compared to barry sanders...sweetness had an incredible combination of power and speed but he definitely was a power runner...i actually look at payton like a faster more athletic earl campbell....where as barry was basically a scat back on meth

i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Or we could keep going until rjs pops an artery.

I don't think he has any LEFT.

Did you know that the blood in arteries is BLUE?

Haha, I'm such an ASS.

Got to give some love to the O-line. Howard Mudd could have had 50 plus yards carrying in the Dallas game
