Wall Street investors and Wharton grads Joshua Harris (Apollo Management LP) and David Blitzer (Blackstone Group) today posted the list of his partners in yesterday's purchase of the National Basketball Association's Philadelphia 76ers. They include:

- CEO Adam Aron, an Abington native and former head of Vail Resorts
- Martim Geller, New York, big-league financial adviser
- David Heller, investor
- Travis Hennings, also works for Harris' Apollo Management
- James Lassiter, film producer who's worked closely with Will Smith (see below)
- Marc Leder, Sun Capital Partners, another big buyout firm
- Jason Levien, pro sports agent
- Michael Rubin, owner of Fanatics, the NBA-NFL-MBL-NHA-NCAA sports gear distributor, and founder of eBay GCI Commerce, of King of Prussia
- Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, the West Philly native Hollywood star and his actress wife
- Handy Soetedjo, Indonesian investor
- Erick Thohir, Indonesian investor
- Art Wrubel, New York real estate investor, Penn grad

king just called out harris for living in nyc while owning the sixers...said the fans here are different and may not be down with that....harris basically said i will be living in nyc but this is not strictly a financial investment

* The team will take out full-page advertisements in the Daily News and Inquirer tomorrow that it is calling an open-letter to Philadelphia sports fans. "In it we will state our philosophy about leading the Sixers, a manifesto of sorts," Aron said. He said the team will solicit fan suggestions and comments via www.newsixersowners.com. He said he will personally read all the suggestions. The 1,776 comments deemed to be the best will receive a free ticket to a Sixers game. "Being the new kids on the block, we intend to truly listen to our fans," Aron said.

* The team announced a new marketing slogan. "Philadelphia 76ers: Passionate, Intense, Proud." "These words have been swirling around the Sixers for decades. We think they perfectly encapsulate what Philadelphia sports fans and Sixers are all about. It truly defines our brand."

* The new owners announced ticket prices for individual game tickets on just under 9,000 seats at the Wells Fargo Center will be cut by 50 percent of more for every single game. "This is not a sale or promotion," Aron said. "These are our new ticket prices. Period. Full stop." He added, "Simply stated, price will not be an obstacle in preventing Philadelphia sports fans from enjoying NBA basketball in person. On game nights, come to our arena, guys and girls. bring your friends; parents bring your kids. Our house is now your house."

* Aron also talked about plans to improve the fan experience. He said the team will announce a "series of specific announcements of exactly how we will be enhancing and improving what our fans will enjoy when they enjoy Sixers games in person. We can't wait to rise to the challenge." We will not be selling the 76ers on the basis of price. We will work tirelessly every waking moment to offer Philaldelphians, exciting, winning basketball. We intend to literally transform the Sixers fan experience on game nights at the Wells Fargo Center."
