I watched 10 minutes of the Terra Nova pilot because there was nothing else on and it was awful. This is from someone who loves sci-fi and dinosaurs and shtein.

Same here, stupid plot. Are there really kids dumb enough to go out at night in a place were 90% of whats out there will eat or kill you? Then they all of a sudden turn into sharp shooting Marines when the dinos attacked. The cgi looks good though.

Actually, the majority of dinosaurs were smaller than humans and were herbavors. Larger, carnivorous dinosaurs had a smaller population.

What they do, take the scrapped Lost scripts and put together this crap?  Network TV is as bad as what they're putting up on the big screen.

the ratings for 10 year old random episodes of serialized dramas are going to be horrendous

its about reminding people the show exists so they watch it on demand or buy the dvd

Breaking Bad is reaching Wire season 4 level. That theory from before is confirmed. The real question is where the hell does the show go from here?

I agree to an extent, they did it for dramatic effect. They wanted the viewer to think that maybe he survived. It was unrealistic but it didn't ruin that scene which was incredible.
