You think the Eagles are going to make the playoffs yet they've had two straight "debacles" and can't cover a 9 point spread against a team that went 6-10 last year.

Yes... they play in a divison with teams led by the likes of Tony Romo and Rex Grossman.  No one is really dominant this year in the NFL, so the playoffs really aren't some unachievable goal.  A 9 point spread is fairly large given the fact that the Eagles defense has let up 4 tds in the 4th quarter of the last 2 games.

ice grillin you

since tony romo became a starter in the nfl he has won 41 games......the eagle franchise has won 45

Not to say that football is a team sport, but what is the Eagles' record vs. the Cowboys' in the same span. More importantly, let's compare playoff wins.

he wasnt talking about playoffs he was talking about winning the division and how it would be easy because tony romo is in it

since romo has become a full time starter in the nfl:

he leads the eagles in division titles 2-1
he is 1-0 head up vs the eagles in the playoffs
he is 5-2 overall vs the eagles
he is 1-3 in the postseason overall....eagles are 2-3

doesnt sound all that easy to me...

kinda surprised to see those #s...always thought of Romo as a regular season hero but a playoff zero

well he is 1-3 in the postseason....unfortunately the win was a blowout vs the eagles

while 1-3 isnt good by any stretch i think his postseason label mostly stems from the dropped snap against seattle...which was always ridiculous to me because it had nothing to do with quarterbacking

Dropped snaps have nothing to do with quarterbacking.  Interesting.

I know that he was the holder in that scenario, but he takes like 60 snaps a game so there's really no excuse.  He botched the play regardless of what position he was playing in at the time.

Also, his postseason label also has something to do with his 13-3 team getting blown out at home against a Giants team that snuck into the playoffs.  The fumbled hold in Seattle put the wheels in motion but Romo hasn't done much since then in the postseason to prove the critics wrong.  He had 1 good playoff game.  1.  It's funny that you're somewhat defending Romo for playing small in big games but McNabb was a bed wetter for doing the same.

The fact any Eagles fan would bet on the Cowboys (regardless of the possible validity) is absolutely fargin putrid!

you are confusing not being a winner with being a choker...which can be mutually exclusive

hes known as a choker for exactly two reasons...he plays for the cowboys so the ridiculous media hype surrounding that franchise makes people think they are better than they are and the botched snap...in reality as a qb hes never choked he just hasnt won anything....if anything his label should be overrated not choker

I bet that there is a Tony Romo fathead on the wall opposite of all the Philly hats in Havas' basement
