Pretty much says it all.   Not a huge disappointment, but then again, awful defensive end draft picks are this team's specialty.

How is that, exactly? Because he somehow managed to stay associated with the team for this long?

He was a 2nd round pick who might have made 3-4 plays worth a damn in his NFL career. That is the very definition of huge disappointment.

Birds are due for a Notre Dame draft pick to pan out.  I can think of one in the past 30+ years, Bobby Taylor.
