i feel the same way...i literally do not wanna see his face ever again as he annoys the shtein out of me

lidge never closes for this team again (obviously)

but i think you gotta let him audition for a 7th inning role...stutes scares me still and throws up a poor outing every four or five games...i think you gotta find out if lidge still has it as his experience would be invaluable in the postseason...especially when side by side with the inexperience of stutes

manual would never bring baez into a meaningful spot into a game. i suspect Manual will have lidge as the setup or closer by the giants series.

Lidge won't be closing any more games for the Phillies this year, barring injury.

And there's been times where he's had no choice but to use Baez in meaningful spots. I'm much more comfortable with Lidge having that role than baez.

May as well see what Lidge has left. Baez has basically nothing.
