Good to see that they are catching up with half the casinos in vegas.  All they need now is go go dancers.  Even the Vegas Hilton has em.
I'm not from Philly but some say I'm blunt.

anyone ever get a rash from a Virginia Creeper Vine?  Worst shtein ever.  I had no clue it was poisonous, thought i had originally touched poison oak.  This shtein has my fingers swollen to the point of my ring finger being fatter than my thumb.  What sucks is the agent in it isnt like Poison ivy/oak/sumac urishol.  Instead its Oxalate Crystals, and it embeds itself into your skin.

Hmm...try rubbing one out with that hand. See what those crystals do down there.

I've never heard of Virginia creeper being poisonous.  Wikipedia does not mention toxicity at all.

You were either pulling poison ivy (possibly mixed in with the creeper) or you are allergic to creeper..which I imagine is rare.

In conclusion, you are either an idiot or an idiot freak.

3 leaves to 5, its easy to tell apart.  shtein i avoided the oak that was there.  But I snapped the vine, and the sap that comes out is what got me apparently thru my gloves.  Whats odd is earlier in the season, i took a leaf and rubbed it on my arm to see if i would have any issues with it, and i didnt.

If I come in contact with poison ivy, it spreads on my body like wild fire and I'll be covered from head to toe in about 48 hours.  Getting that shtein on your junk is not fun at all.

So I got an email today from a guy who used to be a Marine and worked for me in KC.  He's asking for references for a job that he's being considered for.  I find this someone hilarious for a couple of reasons.

1.  I haven't seen or heard from him since 2008.

2.  The reason I haven't had contact with him is because 3 months after he got transferred to my command and started working for me, he got arrested on a warrant for felony DUI.  He spent a week or so in jail and then during the final 3 or so months that he worked for me, he spent a significant amount of time in court and meeting with his lawyer and was also in the process of being kicked out of the military.  Shortly after getting kicked out, he showed up to court for his DUI wearing his Marine uniform.....which led to a sympathetic jury and got the case thrown out.  However, it was discovered during the trial that he was no longer actively serving and he was thrown in jail for a few months for perjury.

And now he's asking me for character references.  The information I am to provide is on a website, so I don't have to type up a letter and send it to him, just go to the site and answer the questions.  So now I'm leaving it up to you to decide what I do.  Should I....

a.  Ignore it.
b.  Answer it, but only talk about his work habits (which were fine).
c.  Answer it, but talk in depth about his character (or lack of character) and disclose his civilian and military legal issues.
d. Get shtein faced and then type whatever comes to mind.

Go.

Answer it honestly.

Good work habits but questionable character.

Let the hiring company (what kind of company/position is it?) make the final call on whether to pass judgement; just give 'em the information.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
