Nice try, but no one talks about KCK on purpose.  Most people don't even know that there are 2 Kansas Cities and even fewer realize that the bigger of the 2 actually resides in MO. 

Actually I would bet that pretty much everyone knows that.

You are vastly underestimating the stupidity of other people

While likely, you are vastly underestimating the propensity of Sarge talking out of his own ass and making things up just because.

In this case; however, Seargent Sassypants is correct: nobody means KCK when they say Kansas City....ever.

Yeah....when I lived in KC and came back east for a visit I couldn't even begin to count how many people would ask me where I lived and when I told them KC they would immediately respond by saying "Kansas?"  Then I'd have to explain that there are 2 Kansas Cities and that the bigger one is in Missouri. 

I hate to take a page out of igy's playbook but I imagine that most people from the NE don't really care, know or care to know.  Hell, before I moved out there I knew of KCMO but I had no idea there was a KCK just across the border.

KCMO is nice.  Nothing fancy but far from a shtein hole.  I had a blast out there.  But yeah, it's MA so it can't possibly be a fun place to live.

Phreak making a comment about the game like 'what a zesty at bat' is a hell of a lot different then igy coming here after every loss to tell us the team with the best record in baseball doesn't have any shot to win the WS. But todd started lumping them together and PG and others have latched onto it.

I am so pissed,  we get FOX Sports west here in Hawaii and they will usually show the Dodger games or at least 2 out of 3 games in a series.  Not one game from this series was televised.  I guess that may be a blessing as Vin Scully wouldn't be doing it and I can't stand Steve Lyons.
