The problem is the NCAA is so inconsistent with who they investigate and punish.  We all know that damn near every D1 program cheats.  Seems like they just pick a couple of big name programs every now and then, find some shady shtein, punish them and then tell everyone that they are concerned with protecting the "integrity" of college athletics.  If they really policed their own and if say 90% of colleges were doing the right thing, then I'd have no problem with them taking awards, bowls or reg season wins from the ones that were caught cheating.

press conference at Rutgers today to announce the new name of the stadium: High Point Solutions Stadium..

right up there with the Papa Johns Center for one of the worst names of all-time.

Rome

Considering Rutgers students propensity for indulging on the lord's green, I'd say High Point is the most appropriate name ever.

Nation's Top QB Prospect Commits To FSU

Wow.  Picking FSU over Alabama for a kid from Hueytown is huge.

so after tons of teasing a&m is going to the sec

mizzou, fsu or clemson will join to even the count. mizzou already did the 'who? us?' denial so it may be them. with that big 12 would be toast...oklahoma and osu would probably want to bail. farging texas screwing everything up again.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Don Ho

Denied.  For now, not ruling them out for the future.

Most people say that's because the SEC can't really mess with their affiliation with the Big 12. If A&M pulls out of the Big 12, the SEC could then approve.

This Shapiro dude is a piece of work.

QuoteIn one instance, Shapiro described taking a player to the Pink Pony strip club and paying for a dancer to engage in sex with the athlete. In the ensuing weeks, Shapiro said the dancer called one of his security providers and informed him that the player had gotten her pregnant during the incident. Shapiro said he gave the dancer $500 to have an abortion performed, without notifying the player of the incident.

"I was doing him a favor," the booster said. "That idiot might have wanted to keep [the baby]."

And he's about as big as a leprechaun.
