That seems like a very odd non-story for a guy living in Texas to come across.

PhillyPhreak54

It was on Yahoo.

And you may not know this; but it is possible to get news from other parts of the country, or even the world, on this new thing here called the internet.

As an environmentalist, I refuse to turn the air on until the outside temperature hits triple digits

We had 98/99 the last couple of days with 85%+ humidity.

I love when people bitch about the weather.

We've had the mildest spring here I can remember.  Temps in the mid to upper 80's most days with lows in the 60's at night.  A/C only recently went on full time which is really unusual.  My electric bill was like 100 dollars less than last year this time.

That's not a good sign, though, because the last time we had a mild spring we ended up getting blasted by four hurricanes (2004).

They have to be good spellers to get their own names correct.

i was reading an article today about how in new orleans three different parents in the last two weeks have left their kids locked up in a car during 90+ degree weather and it reminded me of this fabulous article in the waspo from a couple years ago
