Bob Buhl (former Phils pitcher) once went 0-87 over three seasons (1961-1963), including a zero-for-70 in 1962.  Granted, he was a pitcher.

Romero does scare the shtein out of me.  Hasn't been the same since the GNC illegal substance bust.

i think every team has at least 1 bad lhp just because they want to have another decoy option. it really serves no purpose.

he was good for the most part last year until he ran into even more injury problems/stopped taking his steroids

hes really washed up this year, and especially for relievers, when they lose it theres really nothing left. someone like ibanez might still be able to hit .250 with a .330 obp but romero is just done.

since Hamels first start of the year, you know the one where he got booed and everybody said he sucks...


5 GS, 4-0, 38 IP (never less than 7), 24 H, 6 ER, 8 BB, 37 K, 1.42 ERA, .142 BAA, and a WHIP of 0.842.

I think we can all agree that Hamels > Osama bin Laden, although in the end bin Laden had a hell of a sinker.
