Following up on my story about the basketball kids in the alley...I ran into one of my neighbors on Saturday.  One of my many black neighbors.  I have a lot of them.  I'm white and I live in the blackest city in the country.

Anyway, he thanked me for sticking up for his son.  I had no idea it was his kid playing ball.  I mean, I had seen the kid at his house, but I've seen a lot of kids there and they just all look alike, you know??

Anyway, we bumped fists and he told me when the riots kick off, I'm good with the blacks, so no worries.

But this is not a pizza town anyway...Royal Farms fried chicken FTW.

A 20 minute walk could land us at Joe Squared though....I wonder if they let black kids in?  or if they take food stamps, because I can't afford that place.

Caught the first two episodes of The Killing last night.  I am unsure at this point if the guy detective is awful or really good, but its a good show.

How is that show Southland on TNT?  I've been meeting to watch it and caught the last 10 minutes of an episode awhile back.  I saw they just renewed it for next season.
