i didnt even see the game yesterday but bob is terrible and couldnt even win a playoff series right now much less a cup

not sure if you've realized, but during this slump in which they've played horribly and i guess have the worst goalie ever, they are still winning games.

they will be fine and you suck on my balls when they are in the finals again.

During the slump they've played lousy teams and do you really feel the quality of goaltending we're seeing from Bobrovsky is good enough to take them to a cup? If he's the starter in the playoffs they don't make it to the finals. Guarantee. At least we know Leighton is good enough to take them there.

Agreed. I think with either Leighton or Boucher you have veterans who can raise their level of play, at this point of their careers they are what they are: average goalies. Bob is too young, inexperienced, and raw to do play the type of goal in the playoffs that this team needs. Soft goals will absolutely kill them and that's what he's been letting in. I'd rather have a good positional goalie who makes sound saves come playoff times than a quick guy who can go post to post.

of course it would help greatly but i dont know if you definitely need someone to get hot...neimi won last year without being great...but you definitely need someone who doesnt let in a bad goal every game

Hot to guys like Boucher/Niemi/Leighton is being in good position to stop the puck and not letting too many softies in during the playoffs. Let the d in front of them block shots and cut lanes off and make a good save every now and again. I don't think Bob plays to the D's strengths.
