What channel is he on, Reese?

I'm a Simmons fan. Love reading his hoops analysis and he talks gambling a lot too.

My one beef with him is sometimes he goes too far off into pop culture land for my taste. I don't give two fargs about Jersey Shore or any of the reality crap he spins into his columns.

ET will be good - not great. A useful and helpful piece but never the star.

I think its 121 called ESPN xtra--not quite sure what time. His podcast gets replayed on the espn channel at certain times as well.

The AP recap said Iggy has been linked to numerous trade scenarios in recent weeks?  Have I missed them?  I'm not expecting the Sixers to do anything before the deadline tomorrow.

bullets lost half their lineup half way thru the game but when that happens you are supposed to take advantage and bury a team and the sixers did just that

Iggy isnt going anywhere. Hes not the  answer to pushing a team over the top. Hes a nice toss in though, but with his contract the toss in factor becomes an issue.

I think this team exceeded everyones expectations since their horrific start. This team can make a playoff series or 2 interesting and that's certainly satisfactory for Collins and Snyder compared to last year.

Although Popovich is in the lead for coach of the year, Collins is easily right behind him as of now.

Sixers Pull Iguodala Off Trade Block

The Sixers had been making Andre Iguodala available in trades this season, but have pulled him off the market during their recent surge, according to sources.

Iguodala is signed through the 13-14 season, with the final year being an early termination option.

Let me read into this a lot more than necessary. 

So they publicly announce that they are "pulling" Iggy off the trade block just a few hours before the trade deadline.  What's the point of making that comment unless they are trying some sort of desperation move to draw interest from other teams.  With all the big names and trades that have gone down in the last 48 hours, I'm guessing that most of the basketball world forgot AI even existed and the Sixers are casually reminding the league that he's still available.  So basically, the Sixers are trying to make other teams want him by saying that they can't have him.  BRILLIANT!!
