So, Vick was nervous about doing the show. The Eagles may or may not have been nervous about him doing it. He went to someone in the org (not Andy) and said that he was nervous about it, and they basically said he had the option to cancel the appearance. Florio is trying to conjure up a story about them talking him into it, when it sounds more like he really didn't want to do it anyway.

I used to feel like that but I think he's gotten much better. Earlier on it was like everything was coached and prepared for him and he wasn't ever sure what he should say. He still has his moments but for the most part I see a big difference when he's just trying to talk honestly. I believe there's a lot that's genuinely changed in him for the better, which I think is great. Especially his ability to read a defense.
