So my cell phones battery crapped out on Tuesday and I had to have a new one shipped to me at West Point..It was supposed to be here today at 4:30, but did not. I call Fedex, talk to the manager and have this discussion:

Me: Where's my phone?
Him: We had a problem at out Memphis hub. Your package was sorted there and all packages from Memphis have been delayed. It will be there by 5:30.
Me: Oh, I didnt know Memphis was in between Philly (shipped from) and West Point. Will you be there at 5:31 so I can call you when it doesnt arrive?
Him: Who is your commanding officer? I am reporting you for violation of 1-madeupcode; disrespecting a public official. I won't stand for someone like you representing the school I graduated from with this kind of attitude.
Me: I highly doubt a West Point grad is working at a Fedex dropbox location
Him: Click

its 5:39 and the phone still isnt here, but what just happened was pretty funny...

i look out my office window and theres a military police car out there..odd. 5 minutes later, he comes into my office and tells me he needs to speak with me. Turns out the alarm at one of the ATM's in the stadium went off and I just happened to be the only guy here, so I had to track down a facilities guy to turn it off - definitely got me a bit nervous. I told him about my dealings with the Fedex guy and he laughed his ass off.

5:42, and still no phone...

Speaking of your shtein not arriving on time, I ordered my coffee maker through Amazon super saver shipping yesterday, and it's already here.

Also, there was some box with "HTC" written on it on my porch, but I threw it out.

yeah i ordered from amazon once at like 4 or 5 PM and it was here the next day.

and fedex has been farging shtein up for me all week...they actually have a disclaimer on their website right now about everything getting out of memphis all farged up.
