where is havas to defend glasses mcgoo aka "the best player on the sixers"

you loser
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

best player on the sixers isnt sying much but he 100% is....altho jeru is rapidly gaining on him...gotta remember hes got a bum achilles and probably shouldnt even be playing now...i understand if you just dont like him or you hate his contract but dont be ignorant about the game

its akin to me hating the bed wetter as much as i do and because of that saying he was a horrible quarterback for the eagles

iguodala is a good player who like 90% of the players in the nba has deficiencies....at the same time he does more than most players in the league...im not saying nor have i ever said hes a great player but its just laughable beyond belief when people say hes the worst player on the team or that thad young or lou williams is better

is he a #1 option....farg no
is he a good all around player....farg yes

I wouldn't have a problem with Iguodala if he played within the system and didn't delude himself into thinking he was a star. You can tell by the shots that he takes, his interviews, and the way he carries himself on the court that he thinks he's an upper echelon player. In todays NBA where a lot of teams have more than one superstar he's a 3rd option. He needs to stop playing like he's a guy who can carry the team and take pointless shots like AI did. AI could put the team on his shoulders and carry them, he can't...not even close.

He'd fit well on a team with an established superstar because he'd be forced to take his ego down a peg and play within their system.

i thinks hes been more than fine in he system....he doesnt try and do to much...hes i think third or fourth on the team in attemps per game and second in assists...does he throw up shots out of his range too often sure he does...but as far as perimeter players go he doesnt take worse shots than anyone else on the team...i think the frustration comes from him not being a good shooter so when he bricks a shot or has a bad miss people equate that to bad shot selection as opposed to just missing the shot

and hes always the first guy off the bench waving a towel when someone does something good...even when hes in street clothes...i defnitely dont think he thinks he better than anyone else or is above the system

bottom line is the guy has trouble shooting the ball and always will

There are some players that can take off balance shots (Lou Williams/AI) and make them frequently. Then there are guys who need to keep both feet planted and square to the basket so they can get a good shot off (Brand). He does this on occasion, but most of his shots are drive attempts which he pulls up then launches up a prayer off one foot. It's annoying and frustrating.

lol at everything else you wrote about him being a rah rah guy off the bench.

thats one thing i love about this team...they are so happy for each other when someone does well and give mad support...and just in general they have so much fun playing together...its amazing the difference btwn this year and last and how the mood is so much brighter because eddie jordan is gone

I'm on board with Collins. He has them playing smart basketball and you can tell the players react better to him than they did to Jordan. They just need more talent (obviously). I'd like to see them make the playoffs because the experience would be great for the young guys but at the same time they need players so I'd like to see them get a better draft pick even if the talent is scarce. Right now is really about building for two years from now when they can get cap space.

everybody except Iguodala...his body language on the court absolutely sucks.  he is always looking around at someone throwing his hands up in the air if something bad happens.  he's turning into a bitch like McNabb
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

That's funny you mention that because I'm sitting there yelling at the dude through my tv last night to shut the farg up, get back on d and play ball. I mean it's almost every time down the court-every game.

That's the superstar diva in him and I can't figure it out. You want to complain-work a guy off an iso one time and take it to the hole for a finish, then maybe you'll get the call.

I don't have the huge hate like SD because he is very valuable on the defensive end and transition play- both passing and finishing, but he is a very confused player.

every player does it...even brand occasionally...jeru who i wanna procreate with does it all the time...doesnt change the fact that iguodala is first off the bench after a run waving a towel while hes wearing a shirt and tie

I'll give credit where it's due, Iguodala played a well rounded game tonight. Nice defensive stop at the end.

Lou Will sucks at trying to draw a foul

BigEd76

choked away another double-digit lead in the 4th then Lou saved their asses

dont forget iguodala with the game winning jumper and 16 10 and 6
