I just keep going back to all the trip ups that would cause a Donovan stinker

1.  Receivers couldn't get open...shouldn't happen now with all the weapons

2.  Accuracy on throws and killing drives...Vick is extremely more accurate than Donovan.  I don't think he's thrown one worm burner.
3.  Poor gameplan than Andy has no ability to change up on...still very much a possibility.

Vick's accuracy is the most surprising thing to me. In Atlanta, he was not an accurate passer at all. In the Green Bay game this year, he had a couple of throws that were way off, but they were far enough off that it was probably a miscommunication between QB and WR.

Vick looks like a completely different QB than he was in Atlanta. I didn't know accuracy was something that could be taught....don't remember his footwork in ATL but maybe that's what's helping now. His pocket presence is also much improved.

Regardless of how he became a legitimate QB, I'm off my hatewagon

Vick's improved accuracy is likely the result of improved footwork and the fact that he is looking down field immediately after the snap.  It also helps when you have receivers who are hard to overthrow.

Bravo.

QuoteI've seen on any number of message boards retard fans who had this to say about Vick taking apart the taterskins last week: "Well, I'd never want him on MY team. I'd be ashamed if he were my quarterback." If you find someone who says this in person, you walk up to them and you rub your scrotum against them. I farging hate uppity sports fans who have some kind of imaginary, subjective criteria for what kind of athlete they deem acceptable for their team and which they don't. It's bullshtein. BULLshtein. If you're into sports because you want athletes to be good people, stop watching farging sports. Because no team at no time will be 100% stocked with perfect, moral citizens of the universe. You just happen to know more about Mike Vick's transgressions than you do most any other athlete's. If you're a Giants fan and you say you'd never have Vick on your team, you have no farging clue if there's some prick already ON the Giants who is an even worse person than Vick, someone who hasn't at all paid for his sins. Mario Manningham could rape goats. I don't know. How the farg would I know?

Anyone who applies this sort of ethical standard to pro sports is a retard. It's professional sports. It's not even some cockamamie "amateur" enterprise like the NCAA or the Olympics, which are both terminally farged because of the same kind of hypocrisy. I don't root for players on my team to stay faithful to their wives and take cancer babies to the State Fair. I root for them to do a job. Anything outside of that purview is pointless and unrealistic. It's a transparent exercise in cheap self-esteem boosting. It's basically a way of deluding yourself into thinking you're somehow a good person by saying you'll never root for Vick, or that your team would NEVER dare employ such a horrible monster on its squad. It's all a load of shtein. If Vick were on my team right now, I'd buy 800 pieces of Vick memorabilia, even the commemorative #7 Valtrex travel pack. The farg do I care? He's destroying the world right now. I don't give a shtein if he took a dog and chopped its dick off with a pizza cutter. I already know he's a moron who's liable to do something idiotic at any second. But ANY player on the squad could also be that way. I don't know them. I CAN'T know them. And to assume otherwise makes you a swollen dickhole.

Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

I think I got the biggest chuckle out of the "commemorative #7 Valtrex travel pack," but to each his own.

Tomahawk

The commermorative #7 Valtrex travel pack hit too close to home for that swollen dickhole rjs

For me it was: "I don't give a shtein if he took a dog and chopped its dick off with a pizza cutter."

I don't really have a problem with people who root for or against athletes with/without character issues. I do have a problem when people want to continue to persecute others for their transgressions after they've already been punished for them. If someone doesn't want to root for Vick because he killed dogs, fine. It's the idiots who say he should never be able to play football again that I have a problem with.

ice grillin you

when the whole thing first dropped there were a good amount of idiots like that but other than some peta crazies i have heard very little of those kind of people since he got out of jail

i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

There are plenty of people who will always hate him.  But probably not as much as his opponents do.

I've pretty much been having argument's with people lately about how I can root for him. I am so sick of these dog loving idiots. The guys quote above proved a great point, but I can pretty much conclude that these people value dog lives more than human lives. They sit there and argue that Vick is a sociopath and I'm thinking, and Ray Lewis, Stallworth, Rapelisberger, even Farve, Kobe, those guys aren't? Wow, harming a humans life fine, but kill dogs and or let dogs die on your property. Shame on you! Believe me, I can relate, dogs are pretty much cooler than 80% of the human population, but really, step back into reality weirdos.

I am pretty sure his opponents on the field have much respect for his abilities. Getting schooled on the field sucks, but if the guy is that good you gotta take your hat off to him after its over with.

I don't know how, but his accuracy has improved to be about as accurate as any qb I've seen. He's throwing a perfect ball, accuracy, spiral, and distance. I'm telling you last Monday was history in the making, and not just because of records. No qb has ever played lights out like that.
