No.  McNabb sucks, so the division was safe.  Kolb does not suck but is not incredible, so conference is ok but division is not.

And the Giants D was playing really good when they won with Eli too.


Even Peyton couldn't win one until the Colts D got hot one year.

Manning, Dilfer, and Johnson were all fortunate enough to play on teams with unbelievable defenses. The Giants D was mediocre the year they won it, but once they got into the playoffs they were on par with the Ravens and Bucs Superbowl D's. Their pass rush is what won them the Superbowl.
