You don't think anyone actually believes that you're new, do you?

Awesome.

That is pretty sad that a 12 year vet needs to learn how to hurry up.  I am very interested to see how he responds in this game.  He has never faced this type of national criticism like he has this year.  Its amazing when he was with the Eagles, fans and media around here were killed for not having patience with him.

Now all this stuff about him is coming out, guess Reid really did coddle him.  I was listening to NFL Radio this morning and one of the guys was saying don't just assume him going to Arizona is a done deal.  He was saying Whisenhunt wants someone that is a true leader at the QB position.

Awesome.

Quote"Donovan can handle anything," Reid said. "He's a pretty strong-minded guy."

Reid also thinks that he's a solid in-game coach and clock manager.

Franchise Vick, trade to Zona for 2 first round picks?  The Colts game kind of sealed the deal for me on whether or not I want the Eagles to sign Vick long term....I do.  But if the Eagles tag him and another team is willing to give up a couple of high draft picks, it'd be hard to turn that down seeing as they still have Kolb.  Or I suppose they could sign Vick and ship Kolb off to Arizona or where ever.

Either way, they should definitely trade Kafka to the Skins this year for a 3rd rounder.

Here's something never discussed: Is Andy such a great QB coach that he can make no-talents look good? Think about it; The Detmers, Feeley, McNabb (not so much with Mike McMahon)? When he was in Green Bay' Favre went to 2 Superbowls. Maybe he is just that good. He dumps McNabb and he is exposed as incredibly mediocre.

Semantics, but I don't think Ty was with the Eagles when Reid took over.  I do think they spent some time together in GB, but Ty was a back up at that point.  Also, Koy never really ever looked "good" under center.  He was just very animated and.....um......gritty.  Good football mind, tough guy and all, but unfortunately he was a football player in a horse jockey's body.

Simmons:

Eagles (-3) over taterskinS

Booooooooooooo! Booooooooooooooooo! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Donovan McNabb (PK) over MIKE SHANAHAN

It's a push. They're both washed up.

It would work better if you had a player who was a legit threat to pass the ball OR run the ball

The Eagles run it retardedly with Vick, like it's just  a shotgun formation. If they ran it the way Miami ran it, in a run formation, the runs might actually work.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Sgt PSN

Reid has a hard enough times calling traditional run plays that go for positive yardage.

We hope so too, scrub. Although I will admit he's played better as of late. Still can't shed a block to save his life.
