ok, just so we're clear.  you're questioning why a new talk show would have a guest from the most popular network tv show on right now?  the one with obsessive fans who are sure to watch whether she reads the dictionary or splits an atom?

I actually love the fact that he doesn't do a Friday show.  Don't have to worry about missing anything and don't have to worry about recording and trying to watch over the weekend while sports is on. 

BTW....how farging awful is George Lopez?  His opening monologue is absolutely terrible.  The jokes themselves aren't that bad, but his delivery just totally kills it.  And why does he make all these stupid faces and awkward body movements after he tells a joke?  It's almost like he knows that he sucks, so after he tells a joke, he makes these retarded looking facial expressions to help coax the audience into laughing and just keeps it going until the laughter level reaches an acceptable level for him to move on to butchering another joke.

There's a drop in crap, damn, hell, ass, bitch and bastich....probably because they've been used on network tv forever (although ass, bitch and bastich are the more recent "additions" to acceptable dialogue on television).  The latter 3 started appearing with regularity sometime in the early 90's and the former 3 have been on television as long as I can remember.  They simply aren't considered dirty or profane anymore, so there's no shock factor with them.  Now networks have moved onto euphanisms and just bleeping f bombs and shtein to be considered "edgy."

Just a guess, but I think those numbers are reflective of non-cable networks.....FOX, ABC, NBC and CBS.
