I don't think Tra Thomas was underrated, he received his share of accolades. My top pick, Andy Harmon, didn't make the list.

Yeah, I agree.  Runyan as an individual may have been overlooked on the national scene but even the 2 of them together was widely regarded around the country as the best pair of tackles in the game.

Also, I never realized that the Eagles pitched back to back shutouts in their championship games.  I mean, I knew the scores but never really connected the dots or tried to put any value in it's significance.  Then again, it happened some 30 years before I was born so I have very little interest in it.

Speaking of which.. I was wearing my Phils jersey down in DC for the game on Sunday night and some Yankees douche came up to bragging about the 27 World Series Wins... he was about 21.... so I'd say he may remember 2-3 of them... gotta love it.

That reminds me when I caught a game in Oakland a few years back.  There was some little 8 year old snot wearing a jacket that said "26 time champions' will all the years on the back.  He kept turning around and taunting the fans.  All I could think about was, "Kid, you probably wernt even alive the last time they won one".

Cool story, I know.  Point is, unless you are from NY, I dont want to hear about what a huge yankees fan you are.  Especially if you are 8 and live on the white side of the bay.
I'm not from Philly but some say I'm blunt.

I don't care where you're from. I don't want to hear about what a huge Yankee fan you are. farg the Yankees and their spoiled unbearable fans.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

I thought my response was adequate though... I think it was something along the lines of...

I'm here to meet women and you're busy going up to random guys to discuss sports at a club.

So you were in a club when this happened?  That's actually lame on all accounts.  Yes, approaching a complete stranger to "brag" about championships that don't actually belong to you is terrible in any environment, especially a club.  But wearing a sports jersey to a club is awful as well.  It's even worse when said club has a complete lack of regard for dress codes and allows people to wear them inside.  I'm generally not a picky person, but when it comes to clubs, if they don't have some sort of minimum dress standard then chances are, I'm not going in.

Nah.. it's not like that.... it was a sports bar.... I watched the game... and at about 10-11ish it turns into a club... and the upstairs opens up.. I'm not running back home to switch into clubbing attire haha

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Did anyone see Andy Reid get mad at the press conference about Vick being late?

"You Guys are killing me.. I told him to be here at 12:15.. he was here at 12:15 blahb lbhalbhal"
