Not really.  Oswalt helped take away a lot of the sting, but I'm still a bit pissed about trading Lee.

Rays, ouch.  Owned again.  They looked totally lost out there.

The problem that Tampa had coming into the playoffs is offense......which is a weird thing to say about a team that was 3rd in all MLB in runs scored this year with 802.  But they also finished 27th in batting average and the 3rd best batting average on the team was Jason Bartlett at .254 (min 400 ab's).  They also had 4 players with a minimum of 100 ab's who hit below .200, including Carlos Pena who had nearly 500 ab's and hit just .196.  There's a reason why this team was on the wrong end of so many no hitters and shut outs this year.  They don't hit for much power (only 2 players with 20+ hr, none with 30) and other than David Price, they don't have any starting pitchers who put a lot of fear into opposing batters.  James Shields is nice but had a down year.  Somehow these guys are even more inconsistant than the Phillies offense.
