Jimmy Rollins called Phillies fans front runners and was lambasted. We all talk shtein - Philly fans more often than many - but when it's thrown back it's like all he broke loose.

wow ive officially heard it all now...putting donovan in the same breath as one of the biggest MEN in philly sports history...youve said some crazy things thru all this but this is one you cant ever come back from...jimmy rollins got killed for what he said...but he took it like a man didnt hold it against the fans...i dont think its possible to have two guys on more opposite ends of the respect meter

I mean the dude was my favorite player for years, but you can only choke on it so many times in big situations before you wear out your welcome. His propensity for deflecting blame and whining didn't really help the situation.

one of my all time favorite sports moments was being at fed ex when donovan ankled mark carrier...i think after that game he was my favorite athlete in the city

but that was a lot of chokes and a few thousand pouty and passive aggressive fits ago
