they arent making the playoffs....i love how two weeks ago most people had them out of the playoffs...now because they beat detroit they might make it?....i could see if they were 2-0 and handled green bay...but jesus what has happened in the first two weeks of the season that would change your mind in a positive way about the eagles prospects for this season

heres nine reasons why they have no chance at the playoffs

There might not even be a season next year.  And most of Kolb's money was paid in the uncapped year.  I guarantee you that Joe Banner understands sunk costs.

This team is a farging disaster. OF COURSE Vick gives them the better chance to win this weekend. OF COURSE Kolb would get killed behind this O-Line. Neither of those things matter. IGY is spot on about this decision having everything to do with the Cowboys being 0-2 and the rest of the division looking beatable. They want to sneak into the playoffs and make more money and the future be damned but Vick isn't winning a superbowl and he isn't the future of the team so what is the farging point? I hate this shtein.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Oh, so this is where we're talking about the Vick thing. The synopsis of my thoughts about the Eagles this year: blah.

There you have it.

Poor Kolb.  He has to feel betrayed.  Probably understands how Vicks dogs felt when he strung them up and electrocuted them.

Anyway, Once Vick starts playing good competition he will revert back to being a 55% passer who throws as many picks as TD's.  Ho hum he is a bum.

reese125

is there any chance that his 55% passing was due to not having one legit receiver in Atlanta besides Crumpler that could consistently (the key word here) get open in Atlanta?

not to mention when you run half the game how many times are you going to throw the ball to those inconsistent receivers? eagles receivers are a little diff from them

ice grillin you

or maybe he had no good wr's cause he couldnt get the ball to them...i dont think its a coincidence that the te was his favorite target

since college vick has never shown any indication he can be a good passer and i wouldnt miraculously expect him to become one...that said i suppose there is a small chance he reinvents himself under this coaching staff...probably about the same chance that kevin cobb ever becomes a good nfl qb

that said theres people like joneszilla that are going to hate him no matter what because of the dog thing

Pretty sure joneszilla isn't judging him based on that.  Just a hunch.

ice grillin you

pretty sure he is....not that theres anything wrong with that....some people are greatly offended by it

yeah Im not saying that Vick re-invents himself into this great passer either, but there is a great chance that passing percentage number goes up a alot higher due to the fact that the eagles receivers are light years ahead of what he had in the past

but who knows if the o-line will prevent that from happening
