Also, the (R) party couldn't come up with a better challenger for governor of MD than former governor Robert Ehrlich (sp?).  They should have just trotted out Michael Steele or some other pathetic rube, because that ain't happening.  And if it does, IGY might cry.

I think Ehrlich wins it, and he's got IGY's vote since he appeared in The Wire. 

All the win in delaware shows is the Lower Slower folks came out to support the TeaParty vote, New Castle County had low turnout.  What i would look into is the # of Rep's who switched over to Dem or Independent over the past 3 years, and how many people joined the republican party from an independent status or Dem.  The scary thing is that this lady wasnt even state news worthy until the Teabaggers threw money at her campaign, and Sarah Palin endorsed her.  End it all

i would never vote for erlich but hes more than tolerable and one of the few good pubs

maryland would never allow a far righty governer as it is much too liberal of a state

yeah, i really dont mind either one of them.  Carchetti had his run, and just ran up taxes.  What sucks is i dont have a physical address so i cant vote right now i dont believe.  I'm registered at my old address, and we're living in DE for the mean time until we close a deal.

And IGY, Castle is pretty much a Repub only in name. He is very moderate, and I would have preferred him over Coons because he's not the type of guy to vote with party lines just to vote with party lines. He would have been a nice ally to have in the Senate.
