I can't remember Theismann ever saying anything negative about McNabb. He's always been extremely complimentary of him throughout his career.

Washington signed Haynesworth to a $100 million contract in 2009 as a free agent, and the tackle accepted a $21 million bonus in April. It's been a nonstop battle of wills between coach Mike Shanahan and Haynesworth since then.

The Titans declined to comment, and the taterskins did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

ESPN first reported the teams were discussing a possible Haynesworth deal.

I want to laugh, but getting rid of him is the best thing that team could do. If they actually get something of value for him they come out ahead, I think.
