Story on the current whereabouts of Vick's dogs. Apparently there's a whole book on them coming out, for the animal crowd.

Fewer than a dozen of the dogs were hardened fighters. Two had to be put down—one was excessively violent and the other was suffering from an irreparable injury. Then there was a group characterized as "pancake dogs"—animals so traumatized they flattened themselves on the ground and trembled when humans approached. Another group seemed to be dogs of relatively friendly normal temperament who simply had never been socialized.

He may be implying that this is a throw-away year and we need to let Kolb fail if he's going to fail so he can move on.

What do you want out of this season exactly? Playoffs? Superbowl? If neither, then why should Vick even start. Let Kolb prove he can fail or prove he can win. This way we can move on if he does suck.

its really not that challenging

either kolb sucks and you move in a different direction after the year, or hes good and you look forward to 11 and 12 and beyond

lets say they start vick from here on out...what are they, 8-8? 10-6? either way they still aint winning shtein. i know its difficult to digest but youre just gonna have to give kolb this season to play football. so far, its been terrible. yes. but its 1 half of football. lets see more, huh?

Rich Eisen says another good game by Vick means Kolb will be on a short leash.  Yay we can joke about dogs again!

Rich Eisen said it....it must be true.  I don't think anyone will say Kolb played great but he was getting killed by Matthews.  Lets give him at least half a season before we throw him under the bus.

In my opinion, with the three years in waiting, the hype that he is the next franchise, the trading of your proven player to a division rival...

You don't come out and lay an egg like today. You simply don't.

And I'm talking about the coach and the player. All of the build up. All of the articles about hie fiery attitude and leadership and whatever else.

You come out and handle business not get bitch slapped.

And for the record, I really hope that I am wrong about him. I want to win. If it is Kolb or Vick, I want to win. But if he doesn't get his shtein straight...then you pull the plug. He's had time to learn and grow. Now is time to produce.
