2012 - Not bad from a special effects pov, but not very good from a movie pov.  The writing and the plot were so simplistic that pretty much nothing in the movie was surprising.

Hot Tub Time Machine - some good laughs, retro, some decent cameos from people that were popular in the 80's. Worth a rent if you're looking for a fun movie.

The Godfather 2 - Definitely enhanced the first one. The Vito Corleone back story was on point. Deniro nails it. Not much I can say about the film that hasn't already been said.

Tropic Thunder has more or less been on continuous loop on Cinemax this month and I've rewatched it a couple of times. I have to say that I find it way more hilarious now than I did my first time through. It makes me laugh a lot.

agreed. kind of like stallone in cop land where it was a nice change of pace.
